The EBR (Enhanced Battle Rifle) is a variant of the tried and trusted M14 and was developed for the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Command units, such as the Navy SEALs.

The M14 MOD 0 was designed to help fulfill both the sniper and CQB roles. The gun features a collapsible stock, pistol grip, new front sight, and Picatinny front R.A.S., among other enhancements that brings the M14 into the 21st century.

The EBR is currently fielded by the U.S. Navy SEALs, U.S. Coast Guard, and select U.S. Army Units.

The EBR is definitely a versatile choice that is effective in both close quarters and sniper/counter sniper roles.
